Central Oregon artists lift their voices in song at the April 14, 2018 Listen Local Live concert!  

Music from classical or classically inclined repertoire will include familiar composers and some new gems to enjoy.

Join us at 7:00 PM 

at the First Presbyterian Church of Bend 

at 230 NE Ninth Street. 

The concert is free with donations gratefully accepted to help defray costs. 

Sacred Music Concert coming February 3, 2017

Mark your calendars for a beautiful concert of sacred music offered by a stellar team of musicians including Eileen Heaton, Julie Geveshausen, Jo Booser, Janet Gesme and more at 3:00 PM on Saturday, February 3, 2018. 

The concert will benefit the building maintenance fund at First Presbyterian Church of Bend in honor of the support this church has provided to so many community groups.

Listen Local Live Concert: Fall Classics Fest

Join us for the 10th Listen Local Live concert!

Both instrumental and vocal musical offerings from Wagner, Bizet, Kummer, Offenbach and Puccini!

Enjoy lush music and familiar melodies on a chilly fall evening in the gorgeous acoustical space of the First Presbyterian Church of Bend, 230 NE Ninth Street.

Time:  7:00 PM
Admission:  FREE, with donations gratefully accepted to help defray costs

 

Seeking Participants!

Ask any Listen Local Live alumni and they'll tell you it's a great experience - and speaking personally, each time I step up to sing, it is a great kick in the pants to my music making.

October's repertoire will be All Classical and both instrumental and vocal selections are welcome. 

What's involved?  The next concert is scheduled for October 21, 2017 with one dress (non-dress) rehearsal on Friday October 20.  Individual rehearsals with the event pianist (if needed) are arranged on your own, including arranging payment for the pianist's time for the rehearsals and the performance.

Join us celebrating local musicians for the May 14, 2017 edition of Listen Local Live!  Stay tuned for details but the sneak preview is a very special collaboration between two amazing singers, Jimena Shepherd and Julia Rahm.

We have been so fortunate to enjoy amazing programs in the past that it is exciting to think about what will develop for each new concert.

Smooth jazz and fun Broadway are on the ticket for our July Listen Local Live event.  Join seasoned and young talents from Central Oregon as they strut their stuff and kick up their heels!  Listen for old standards and songs from the newest shows and find your own new favorites.

Summer is fast upon us and I'm looking ahead to the 2015/2016 season!  We kicked off this endeavor with some classical and some Broadway and had loads of fun in the process.  Thanks so much to my friends and family for all your support!

Join us for a fun evening of Broadway and light opera!

Looking forward to a recital in April!  It'll be a little lighter fare this time with plans for a mix of Broadway and light opera.  Still waiting to confirm the venue for the date I want and then we'll be off and flying.

Fantabulous time January 17, 2015!

We had a marvelous time at our first program on the 17th.  January weather was kind to us and we had an enthusiastic crowd and we've gotten tremendous positive feedback!  Whoooop whoop!

In looking forward to future events, we're faced with a horrible conundrum:  so many ideas!  What should we do first?
